The Learning Institute for Technology Education was represented by approximately 15 members who attended the ITEA International Conference, held in Baltimore, Maryland on March 23-25, 2006. These professionals represented our association by participating in the President's Roundtable meeting, visiting the world's largest technology education trade exhibition, and attending a variety of professional development workshops designed for technology education teachers.
Mr. Tom Pachera , Technology Teacher in Forsythe Middle School in Ann Arbor, Michigan was recognized for the Technology Teacher Excellence Award from our association.
Dr. Phillip L. Cardon, Associate Professor and Technology Education Program Coordinator at Eastern Michigan University coordinated the association's work in the past year with ITEA assisting in the development of membership recruitment responsibilities, public information, communications, and activities requiring governmental action of both groups.
