I am currently a Design & Technology, and Science Specialist in grades K-6 for Shawnee M/S/T Academy, a Grand Rapids Public School . In the past 5 years of my current position, I thoroughly enjoy watching my students develop and grow in their use of technology, problem solving, and working together. The business community in Grand Rapids and the surrounding area has been an excellent resource for field trips, competition judges, and speakers while I bring these “Real World” experiences to my students. I encourage you to look at our school website for a few pictures of our students in the lab setting and our Tech. Ed. (Engineering) Challenges. http://web.grps.k12.mi.us/Elementary/Shawnee/
