Phillip L. Cardon, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Eastern Michigan University
Phillip L. Cardon received a BS in Automotive Technology from Weber State University, a MS in Technology Education from Brigham Young University, and a Ph.D. in Technology Education from The Ohio State University in 1999. He has taught technology education at the post-secondary level since 1999. Currently, Dr. Cardon is an associate professor at Eastern Michigan University. He has completed research in the area of curriculum and development and special needs populations in technology education. His teaching interests include methods and curriculum development and technology for children. His service to the technology education field includes work in the Council of Technology Teacher Education, Ohio Technology Education Association, International Technology Education Association (ITEA), Learning Institute for Technology Education (LITE), and Epsilon Pi Tau Delta Alpha chapter co-trustee. He currently serves as the Michigan LITE representative to ITEA. Some of the professional publications and presentations include the following:
